Women Who Earned Their Wings at Drake Field

From 1939 to 1941, the Civil Aeronautics Authority’s Civilian Pilot Training Program trained pilots at Drake Field. Five women earned their wings in the training program, which was taken over by the War Department after the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

This Web site contains history of the Arkansas Razorback football teams from the last 120 years.
Arkansas Archeological Survey
Part of the University of Arkansas System, this agency is charged with researching and conserving historic and prehistoric sites.
Department of Arkansas Heritage
This state department is dedicated to preserving the state's heritage and history.
